A note from President Scaturro

lqb_logoThank you all for your input about the emailed maintenance fees.Some received multiple emails others said they did not receive any. We are working through this new adventure, fixing the bugs,and in the end we will have a better more economical system.

The invoices all have sent by email. If you have not received them please contact the resort for assistance and or to confirm your email. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

    I might suggest that the news items be separated into 2 categories: one for the members only section, (such as the issue with emailed maintenance fees, voting info regarding board members) and one for the public (such as improvements, pools, local news, etc).

    Good morning

    Maybe you should add your mailing address here. You had posted it on Facebook so I had it. However I received several maintenance fee bills from LaQuinta and all had LaQuinta’s mailing address. The US mailing address was not on any if them.

    We had week 30 2106 and we sold it to my brother in law but they never received dues and it wasn’t sent to our home. What are dues for a 1 bedroom and how do they mail without an account#?

    If maint fee email didn’t reach the member why should they have to pay late fees? Unfair, management should eat it.

    Apparently a maintenance bill was sent to an email address that I have not used for at least 8 years. I have never been late with my maintenance fees, in fact I was always early because I deposited it with interval. I have called aruba and taked with ika a few times about this and she assured me that it would be taken care of. I received another bill today for the same late fee. I refuse to pay this late fee. it gets to a point that with the high maintenance fee and the interval trade fee that it is almost cheaper to let the timeshare go and book your own vacation. I own 2 other timeshares and have never had this frustration.

    I just received a call from ika and she assured me that my maintenance fee late fee has been removed. hopfully this has been resolved I would suggest that in the future any major change like this and the information should be sent by regular mail first. I know I for one am not the most computer savy person and I think a good deal of your population can say the same thing.
